It seems that these days I get tired at night and when I'm tired and lie down I fall asleep. This is kind of foreign to me and I'm still getting used to it. I think I like it.

It's almost over. What a terrible year.
I made a lot of mistakes and did a lot of bad things to myself this year. Made stupid decisions, sometimes never made decisions at all. Put too much trust in the wrong people and not enough in myself. Too much focus on the wrong things. It's done now. Time to forget 2009 and start over right.
No need for goofy lists or detailed outlines of the year's plans. Just the memory of this year and the drive to make the next one better. I hope everybody has a good night and beyond.

In other news, my 32X works! Virtua Fighter on this thing impresses the hell out of me. Borrowing an RF switch from my brother-in-law til I find a Genesis 2 AV cable of my own. I really like this weird mushroom thing! No, not that one, the black one! No, not that one, the one that plays Space Harrier! No, not that one, the... Ha ha! Ahem. Uh.
So... how's everybody doing?

It's over. And... to sum up my feelings on the end and the series as a whole will take much more time than I'm willing to spend right now, but this: I am happy. I am so happy. If I added up the amount of time and money I'd spend on this series, it would probably terrify me! But it has always made me happy. Each game has come along at such a distinctly different time in my life and it's so strange and so much fun to step back and think about it all. The series has certainly made a mark on me, and I even got to make a tiny mark on it, if you count a dog tag in the Twin Snakes. But I can't think right now, my brain has turned to shit. Organized thoughts in the form of sprawling paragraphs of bullshit coming soon to an LJ cut near you.
p.s. The Happening is one of the worst fucking movies I've ever seen from a competent director. Fallon, I'm sorry, The Strangers really wasn't that bad.
